A Bucket List Dream Come True

This summer, we were able to make one of Mary Jane Milici’s biggest dreams come true—a “Bucket List Trip” to France. Mary Jane lives with MELAS disease, and traveling has always been a challenge, but also one of her greatest wishes. With determination, love, and a little help, she made it across the ocean to experience the beauty, history, and flavors of France.

One of the most special moments was captured in Lyon, where Mary Jane’s sister, Sofia, wheeled her through the bustling market. Right beside the colorful displays was a delightful macaroon vendor—everything looked (and tasted!) as sweet as the moment itself. For Mary Jane and our family, this trip wasn’t just about travel; it was about joy, togetherness, and making memories that will last forever.
